Overview

DM NVX is the latest addition to the DigitalMedia™ family. Together with XiO Director, NVX creates a secure, reliable and versatile solution that can be monitored, managed and controlled on the same network. This course covers the design, configuration requirements and the unique capabilities of Crestron DM NVX solutions. Learn to add flexibility and scalability to your application by incorporating XiO Director to control the entire DM NVX network.

Objectives

After successful completion of this class, you will be able to:

  • The fundamentals of network architecture for NVX.
  • How to design a system using NVX and XiO Director.
  • Multicast addressing in your network design.
  • Configuring your network switch for a proper NVX deployment.
  • How to add NVX devices and create domains within XiO Director.
  • How to Route and Manage your devices using XiO Director for various applications.

Prerequisites

This course has no prerequisite; however, a fundamental understanding of Network technology and DigitalMedia technology is helpful.

Use Crestron MasterInstaller to aid in your software installation. You will need the following software installed and verified to work for this class.
